The dam is located 30 km northwest of Constantine Province, within Mila City, eastern Algeria. It was part of the Transfer of Beni Haroun Master Project, aiming to channel water from Beni Haroun and Bou Siaba to six major cities: Batna, Kenchela, Mila, Oum El Bouaghi, Constantine, and Jijel. The project addressed the rapidly increasing demand for both drinking water and agricultural irrigation. Key Specifications:
