The water treatment plant contract was awarded to the ENKA & Degremont (France) Consortium. The scope of construction included:

• Detailed design.
• Material supply.
• Civil and structural works for the treatment plant.
• Leakage testing of all structures.

ENKA’s Share of Work:

• Design, supply, erection, and start-up of the raw water supply pipeline.

The facility was designed with a final operational capacity of 270,000 m³/day of treated water.
