This project was the second major development of the Libyan Petroleum Ministry in Ras Lanuf. Background:
In 1986, ENKA had already completed the first part of Ras Lanuf New Town, which included 1,129 villas, 5 hotels/motels, 5 housing compounds, a primary school, kindergarten, and supermarket with all auxiliary facilities.
The new extension works (Phases 1 & 2), valued at approximately 90 million USD, added 360 villas and multiple social buildings.
The extension was successfully completed in 1993, further expanding the town’s capacity.
